Alberto Balcazar has been a law enforcement officer for nine years. Before he was in law enforcement, he worked as a bartender at TGI Friday's in La Jolla while completing his bachelor’s degree in sociology from San Diego State University (SDSU). The Menifee Police Officers Association was formed in May 2020 to be the bargaining unit of the newly established Menifee Police Department in Southwest Riverside County, representing members in contract negotiations and ensuring they are treated fairly in the workplace.
