K-9 Dino and his partner have been serving the city of Menifee since September 2020. K-9 Dino is a 125-pound male German shepherd from Burbach, Germany, born April 17, 2019. He is cross-trained for Patrol, Narcotics, Evidence and Tracking. K-9 Dino’s favorite hobbies are pretending he is a 15-pound lapdog and climbing into the lap of Officer Brooks’ wife, who only weighs 100 pounds. He also enjoys chewing on a super-size Kong toy.
