I was humbled to be part of the inaugural Board of Directors for the MPOA, serving as the Vice President. With the rapid growth of our ever-developing agency, I found myself serving alongside our first two presidents. They were quickly promoted and in turn ranked out of the MPOA (officer’s union) and into the MPMA (management union). I proudly fulfilled my duties and stepped up to serve as President of the MPOA, with my fellow officers recently entrusting me with a new two-year term as President.
I have become known for my lengthy, early morning emails. My board receives “novel length” text messages that compile my thoughts while on the treadmill. They take those thoughts and create action. Not to mention they dream ideas themselves. I am proud to serve alongside them, as well as all of our members.
I am 100% committed to this MPOA and making us stronger, unified, and fun! I have a list of items for us to tackle in these next two years. It is my main priority to ensure that we do our best to keep our MPOA transparent, involved and strong in both the department and community. We will encourage our officers to have relationships with our city partners, the community and each other. These are only some of the things our Board of Directors and I will strive for. Oh yeah, we also go out and make our city safe through law enforcement and all the stuff.
If you see any of us out there, say hi. Please watch for our next event(s), we would love for you to join us…..Stay Safe and Stay Classy, Menifee!
