Dear Members, Community Partners, and Supporters,
As President of the Menifee Police Officers Association, it is both an honor and a privilege to serve alongside the dedicated men and women who protect and uphold the values of our community every day. Since stepping into this role in January 2025, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible resilience, professionalism, and heart that our members bring to the job — no matter the challenge, no matter the hour.
My journey to this position has been shaped by a lifelong commitment to service and leadership. I proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 2004 to 2008, where I developed a deep respect for discipline, teamwork, and selfless dedication. That foundation led me to pursue leadership roles beyond the military, including my time as the Parliamentarian for the Student Government Association during college, where I learned the importance of fair representation and integrity in governance. Continuing to build upon these experiences, I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity at Park University, furthering my education to stay ahead of the evolving challenges facing both our profession and our community. I believe that leadership requires a constant commitment to growth, and I strive every day to lead by example.
Beyond my professional commitments, I am a family man at heart. I have been blessed to be married for 14 years, and together my wife and I are raising three wonderful children: our 12-year-old daughter, our 7-year-old son, and our newest addition, a beautiful baby girl just three months old. Both of my older children attend school within the Menifee School District, which gives me a deeply personal connection to the community we serve. Like every parent, I want to see my children grow up in a safe, thriving environment, and it is this shared hope that drives my passion for our association and the city we call home.
The Menifee Police Officers Association proudly represents both our sworn and non-sworn professional staff, including records personnel, community service officers, crime scene technicians, investigative specialists, and many other vital roles that keep our department running efficiently and effectively. Under my leadership, our association remains firmly committed to advocating for the well-being, safety, and rights of all our members while strengthening the bonds of trust and partnership with our community.
As we look to the future, my vision is clear: to continue building a stronger, more united association that prioritizes the needs of our members and embraces the community we proudly serve. I am deeply grateful for the tireless work of our Board of Directors, the steadfast dedication of our members, and the trust placed in us by the public. To our officers and professional staff, please know that your hard work and sacrifices do not go unnoticed. You are the backbone of this association and the guardians of our community. To our residents and community partners, we remain steadfast in our commitment to service, integrity, and compassion. Your partnership and support fuel our mission every day.
Together, I am confident that we will continue to build a future rooted in mutual respect, shared purpose, and unwavering dedication. Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your President. It is an honor I carry with deep pride and humble gratitude.
With respect and gratitude,
Adan Ochoa
